Autumn cleaning

We have something called "spring cleaning", so why not autumn cleaning?

The weather has finally been getting noticeably cool in Bermuda.  Ever since we returned from France in September -- where everyone was already walking around in their gorgeous autumn finery -- I've been putting away my light summer clothes, such as these floaty tops and skirts, and pulling out my cashmere pulls, wool knits, closed-toed shoes and boots.  There is a distinct lack of seasons in Bermuda with an all-too-brief spring turning rapidly into an unbearably long and humid summer, followed by a hint of an autumn, and then several months of grey skies and periodic torrential rain.  Since moving to Bermuda five years ago, I've been missing the four seasons I used to experience in Canada, so I've been trying to create the feeling of distinct seasons in other parts of my life through things such as clothing and decor.  I've been loving the feeling of snuggling under our luxurious duvet on cool evenings.
